Will Hamer derives his skills from a multitude of experiences over his professional career. Prior to his financial services career, he worked as a qualified diesel mechanic all over Australia in the commercial and mining sector. This experience allowed him to gain key knowledge of all aspects of plant, equipment and vehicles from all walks of life. This skill translated extremely well when he moved into his financial career in Asset Finance, given his knowledge of how the equipment he was financing actually operated.

Since the career move from his mechanical trade, Will has had more than 8 years’ experience in the Finance Services Sector; specialising in Negotiation, Broking, Customer Service, Business Planning, Banking, Retail & Commercial Sales & Sales Management. After working in both the Banking and Asset Finance Broking sector as an employee, he eagerly took the step to create a business ingrained with trust & transparency, supported by long term customer relationships. Something to put his name to… As such, Hamer Finance was created.
Will has seen great success in FY21 & FY22 and as such he has been nominated as a top 10 finalist in both the Australian Mortgage Awards (Broker Of The Year - Specialist Lending) and the Australian Broking Awards (Asset Finance Broker Of The Year) 2 years running.

David has over 9 years in commercial asset finance experience. With an exceptional customer service orientated outlook David heads up our commercial B2B client applications.
Dave hails from rural Oamaru, New Zealand. In 2013 he made the move to Melbourne to further his financial career. Prior to this he studied Marketing and Economics from Otago University gaining a bachelor’s degree.
David took the step and moved over to Melbourne where he worked at ANZ as a commercial finance specialist and managed a team. He was accountable for overseeing end to end operation of the car loans team.  Growing up in rural New Zealand allowed him to gain key knowledge of all plant and equipment which helped with his transition to broking specialising in commercial assets. With over 9 years’ experience in the finance sector David is fully equipped to handle all your asset finance enquiries.
