Growing up as a child, Peta always had a love for numbers. Peta followed her passion for numbers and in 2005, commenced her university degree, a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance at Murdoch University. Soon after graduating, Peta was offered an opportunity to undertake the graduate program at the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
Peta’s career saw her go on to do further study through the CPA Program, move through many different positions in the compliance section, manage teams, and even taking a secondment to another law enforcement agency to broaden her skills.
Her career at the ATO was much longer than anticipated, a fantastic 16 years! Her resignation was in March 2024.
Following the birth of her two children, Peta knew it was time for a change. She has always dreamt of owning her own business but didn’t know exactly what she wanted to do. After discussions with a family friend, Peta thought she would try her hand at Mortgage Broking. She completed her Diploma of Mortgage and Finance Broking and joined Team Dunkerton at Loan Market.
When Peta isn’t working, you will find her enjoying her family time with her two young children and giving back through volunteering at local community groups.
