A Q&A with Daniel;

What was your past experience before joining the team? How many years experience do you have in the finance industry as a mortgage broker?

With 18 years of experience as a mortgage broker, I have witnessed significant changes in the lending industry over the decades. Before venturing into finance, I had a successful career in IT but was seeking a new adventure. In 2006, I made the leap into lending, and after just a year, I realised the profound impact I could have in transforming people’s lives and helping them fulfil their dreams.

What is your role in the business?

I am Head Broker and Managing Director of Loan Market Narellan.

Do you charge a fee for your services?

There are a lot of misconceptions that mortgage brokers charge hefty fees. Generally this is not the case. Typically a mortgage broker will be paid by the lender (i.e. no additional cost to you). 

In almost all scenarios you are not required to pay a fee for our services. Instead, we’re paid a commission by the lender you choose through. Learn more here or get in touch if you have any questions.

Important question that everyone will want to know the answer to - if you’re going for breakfast or coffee somewhere in Narellan, where are you going?

My favourite coffee shop is St Jude in Redfern and if I am looking for a quick bite during work the Espresso Warriors in Gregory Hills is our go to!

Have you always lived in Narellan?

I was born and bred in Adelaide but now call Sydney home. I’ve lived all over inner Sydney and know all the local spots in the Narellan region.

If someone was to visit Narellan, what are the top 3 things you recommend they do?

If you ever visit the Narellan region I would highly recommend Mt Annan Botanical Gardens for a nice stroll or bike track. If you are up for something more adventurous, skydiving in Picton is my top recommendation.

When you’re not working, what do you spend your time doing?

When I am not working you can find me at the latest whiskey bar or watching my 2 young kids grow. I also love travelling and collecting books.
