As our Leader with 25 years in the Mortgage and Finance Industry, and as an Accountant before that, Mark is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to all things Finance! He loves building wealth for his customers through property, whether it be helping Investors structure their investments for maximum wealth creation and tax deductibility or assisting customers to purchase their very first property. There is nothing quite like the joy from a First Home Buyer getting the keys to their first home! It’s unbeatable! In Mark’s spare time he loves walking his dog Hendrix (our office mascot, he should really have his own bio) and ensuring that his fur baby gets lots of attention for a happy and healthy life! Mark says “our business employs a diverse range of staff. I really get a kick out of seeing them develop and grow professionally and personally. My main goal is to see them successful and one day be able to run our business themselves for the benefit of their own families.”

With 20 years in the Industry, and as a Broker herself, Beth has vast experience in making our business run smoothly and efficiently! She works hard to implement and improve our systems and processes daily to ensure that the entire home loan experience for our customers is as seamless as possible. In her ‘spare time’ Beth loves to get out and about having adventures with her husband and 2 young boys. The zoo is a current family favourite although Beth’s eldest son is always outraged there are no flamingos there! Beth says “I love watching our business and the staff members grow. We have such an amazing team who are so supportive to each other and also really care for our customers. As a business owner, you can’t ask for much more than that!”

Jas is part of the Broker team here at Loan Market Port Melbourne. With a background in Accounting and over 7 years of experience as a Mortgage Broker, he loves helping First Home Buyers and Investors fulfil their dream of owning property. It gives Jas immense pleasure to assist people achieving their financial goals and putting them on the path of wealth creation. When he’s not working, Jas loves to stay fit by going to the gym, doing yoga or taking his 2 fur babies, Bruno & Bella, out on nature walks. Jas would love to book a trip to Europe soon as he enjoys exploring different countries, immersing himself in their culture and indulging in their amazing food! Jas says “My role gives me a sense of fulfilment to make a difference in people’s lives by educating them on their home loan journey and making their dreams come true. Our team assists every step of the way, resulting in a stress free experience for our customers!”

Katherine is the Senior Credit Analyst in our team. She will guide you through the entire process of signing your application documents through to your loan being approved! Katherine loves that no 2 days are the same in her role which keeps her work exciting and always provides a challenge. Katherine also provides a lot of support to the rest of our team and assists them to grow their knowledge through training and offering guidance when needed. Katherine is also growing her own knowledge by recently completing her Diploma in Finance. When Katherine isn’t working, you’ll find her on Pinterest researching ideas on how to further renovate her house (and wondering why there are so many shades of white!) She also loves reading or heading out to brunch with family and friends. Katherine says “I always enjoy building a rapport with my customers, and getting to call them with the great news that their loan has been approved is so fulfilling, especially if it’s been a challenging scenario and we get a positive result in the end!”

Monique is Mark’s right hand woman and assists him day to day. Monique looks after Mark’s customers, existing and new, in preparing their applications for the Credit team as well as post settlement, ensuring they are looked after every step of the way. If you send an enquiry to Mark, Monique will be giving you a call to gather some more information on your situation and book in a time for your appointment with Mark. She loves getting to know our new customers and assisting them to achieve their goals! In her spare time, Monique enjoys reading and baking delicious food (her focaccia is the absolute best!!) She loves finding new recipes to try and sharing her creations with her family and friends. When she’s not at home baking, she’s out with her husband trying out new restaurants and cuisines. Monique says “I love being able to assist Mark, making sure his day runs smoothly and helping him with all his customers! My day is never the same, which makes my role exciting and enjoyable!”

Iris is one of our Credit Analyst Assistants, looking after your loan application from submission to approval and loves assisting our Brokers to find solutions for our customers! Iris completes the necessary paperwork for your application and submits it off to your chosen lender for assessment. In her spare time, Iris loves to spend time with family as well as her dogs and enjoys taking trips to the mountains. Iris is planning to purchase a home for her family in the near future as well and is looking forward to having a home of their own! Iris says “what I love most about my role is that I get to learn new things every day. I have always enjoyed working with numbers and applying numerical data to real world scenarios. My role at Loan Market Port Melbourne allows me to exercise both my interests and my learnings whilst I help our customers achieve their goals!”

Gab is a part of of our Credit Analyst Assistant Team, and assists our customers to complete their paperwork for their home loan application. Gab then looks after your loan application from submission to approval with your chosen Lender. Gab loves her role because it offers constant learning opportunities and challenges and enables her to grow within her role each day! In her free time, Gab enjoys spending time with her friends, catching up over dinner or simply hanging out together. She is also a keen PS5 player! Gab says "there's a great sense of satisfaction when I see a client's loan successfully approved, knowing I've contributed to their financial journey and also the team's success!"

Karen is our Settlements extraordinaire! She assists all our customers once their loan is approved and guides them through the loan document sign up process all the way through to settlement day. She liaises with the Lender and your Conveyancer to ensure settlement goes through as smoothly as possible. If you are building your dream home, Karen will be your port of call for organising all your progress payments with your Builder as well. In her spare time, Karen enjoys watching romantic comedies or sitcoms at home and ensures she takes the time to travel and visits the wonderful beaches and mountains in her local area. Karen says “I love the sense of accomplishment we receive from achieving goals for our customers! Every application is different and you get to experience and pick up new skills every day in this role!”

Teyla is our customer care specialist and her focus is helping our Brokers and Credit Analysts gather information at the start of the home loan process and also touching base with our customers post settlement to ensure everything is set up correctly. She’s looking forward to learning more about all things finance and she loves that she has such an awesome team around her to help her grow. Outside of work, Teyla also plays Basketball professionally! Basketball takes her all over Australia and overseas and most of her spare time is spent training. She also loves to cook and spends time scrolling social media to find new cool recipes to try and recreate! Teyla says “I love looking after our customers and making sure everything is ready to go for their applications and I’m looking forward to learning more and improving my skills and knowledge in the business!”
