Tell us about your journey in the Finance Industry

My journey in the finance industry began in 2001 in Sydney, where I joined one of the major banks. Over the years, I gained invaluable experience in various roles, including Lending Manager, Bank Manager, and Customer Relations Manager. These positions allowed me to develop a deep understanding of lending, customer service, and building meaningful relationships with clients.

In 2020, I took a leap of faith and transitioned into the private sector, embracing the opportunity to work more closely with clients as a Client Services Manager. This role further fuelled my passion for helping people achieve their financial goals. In 2021, I joined the talented team at Loan Market Excel, where I honed my expertise in providing tailored lending solutions and delivering exceptional service.

Each step in my career has shaped my approach to finance, blending professionalism, personalised support, and a commitment to empowering clients on their financial journeys.

What do you find the most satisfying aspect of your role?

The greatest satisfaction in my role comes from empowering our clients to achieve their dreams and financial goals. Whether it’s guiding someone through the exciting process of purchasing their first home, supporting them in upgrading to their next property, or helping them take that bold step into property investment, being a trusted advisor throughout their journey is incredibly rewarding.

Seeing the confidence and relief on a client’s face when they realize they’re in safe hands—that’s what drives me every day. It’s about more than just transactions; it’s about building long-lasting relationships and celebrating each milestone alongside my clients.

What would you say would be your biggest strength?

My career in the finance industry has allowed me to gain deep insights into diverse markets across Sydney's suburbs of Camden, Narellan, The Macarthur, South Coast and the greater South Western Sydney, the ACT, and beyond.

This National perspective, combined with my local expertise in the NSW Northern Rivers, Cabarita, Kingscliff, Casuarina, Pottsville and Gold Coast regions, equip me to provide tailored solutions that align with my clients' unique goals.

Whether navigating metropolitan markets or understanding the nuances of regional communities, I bring a personalised, results-driven approach that ensures every client feels valued and empowered to achieve their financial objectives.

When you’re not working, what do you spend your time doing?

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me enjoying the simple pleasures of life—relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Northern Rivers or the Gold Coast. Spending quality time with my family, or firing up the BBQ for a laid-back gathering with loved ones. I also have a passion for travel and love exploring new destinations, whether it’s a quick weekend getaway or a longer adventure. These moments help me recharge, stay inspired, and appreciate the balance between work and life.
