Review My Rate
Check your interest rate
Doing a regular interest rate review is one of the easiest ways to manage your household expenses. For most of us, our biggest regular expense is our home loan.
Ask yourself this: when was the last time your bank proactively contacted you to offer a lower rate, or pointed out that new customers are getting a better deal than you?
At Loan Market Connect, we do things differently. We make it our priority to review our clients' interest rates every single year to ensure their finance keeps working hard for them. Whether you are an existing client or completely new to us, we can run an interest rate review for you at no cost to compare your current rate against the market.
What our clients have to say
How an interest rate review works
Banks often offer lower pricing when you have more equity in your home. Equity is simply the difference between what your property is worth and what you owe on your loan. As your property appreciates in value over time, your equity grows, which means lenders might be willing to give you a more competitive rate.
The catch is that banks rarely pass these savings on automatically—you have to ask for them. Lenders generally prefer to keep their existing clients. When they know you are looking at other options, they will often choose to review and lower your current interest rate rather than lose your business.
To get started, head over to our contact page. Along with your standard details, just let us know these four quick pieces of information:
- Your current lender
- Your current interest rate
- Whether the property is an investment or owner-occupied
- What you think the property is worth today
Once you send that through, we will take a look at your unique situation and compare your current rate against our panel of lenders to help find a suitable loan for your needs.
