Phil is the head honcho here at Loan Market Edge, and has been steering the ship for over a decade. He thinks it’s pretty special to be able to help people achieve their goals and be part of their journey that stretches beyond getting that initial loan. Phil is big on making sure you don’t merely come along for the ride, but that you feel empowered by understanding the ‘why’ behind each decision and understanding each step along the way. If we held an office talent show, we know he’d bust out his baton twirling talent.

Lauren has been a mortgage broker here at Loan Market Edge for nearly 10 years. Before that she held a number of positions in major banks in Australia and New Zealand. This experience has given Lauren invaluable knowledge of the ins and outs of bank policies and procedures, and how to prepare the strongest application for a loan for her clients. Her favourite aspect of her work is that approved moment. The moment she calls the client to let them know they are one step closer to their goal. This could mean helping people that were initially rejected by a bank, will now be saving money or approved for the very first time. Chances are, when working with Lauren, she will use the word “sensational”, so listen out.

Vanessa is the office vocalist - never shy to belt out a tune and check if the others have turned their chairs like on The Voice. She loves working with the team to help clients achieve their dreams, whether it is buying their first home, building an investment portfolio or funding a side project. When she was younger Vanessa wanted to be a hairdresser, but instead today she aims to chop percentage points off your home loan interest rate.

Vicki is a true Loan Market Edge veteran having carried the team for nearly a decade. She is the customer care manager, helping us deliver exceptional service. She loves being the one to make the call to clients when they have been able to pay off their loan sooner and own their home - she beats us all at the rock, paper scissors for the privilege. She’s confident that if we held an office talent show, she’d probably be pretty good at making balloon animals. Probably.

Jess is a Gold Coast local and has been with Loan Market Edge for nearly a decade. What makes her stick around? She loves knowing that she is making a difference to people’s lives and that she can be involved in such important milestones. We haven’t tested it, but we think if we held a talent show Jess would be pretty good at talking underwater. Just a hunch.

Gift is our home loan specialist in Townsville, and let’s just say he lives up to his name. He has nearly a decade’s experience in finance including at a major bank, plus a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting and finance. So bring the man some numbers - he loves to crunch them. He enjoys hearing the relief from clients when they hear their loan is approved. We reckon Gift would give Vanessa a run for her money on The Voice.

Rachael is a lending specialist, helping clients get a great result for their loan applications. When she isn’t helping clients hit financial goals and reach that settlement moment, she loves sitting down with a good book and a coffee. Or eating cheese. When she was five she wanted to be an archaeologist.. so you know she is willing to dig deep to get you a competitive rate.

Isaac is your local Townsville lending specialist where he loves being part of the clients’ unique journeys. He particularly likes when he can help provide a solution the client may not have known about that helps them achieve their goal sooner. If he were pasta, he would be alphabet spaghetti because he always finds a way to communicate and keep you updated.

Jess is a real MVP. She supports our brokers and makes sure we have everything we need to produce strong loan applications for our clients. She always makes the process as easy and streamlined as possible for clients, and sets them up to purchase their dream home. She’s more of a spaghetti girl because she is a straight shooter and gets the job done.

Alyka is another vital member of our customer service team. She loves learning and helping streamline the application process for our clients. When not crunching numbers and ensuring all paperwork is in order you could find her rewatching the classic films such as Avatar and Shawshank Redemption or playing a kalimba. Did you just Google it?
