Tell us about your journey to join the Loan Market team.
I first joined the finance industry in 2009 when I started working as a teller in a NAB Branch in Brisbane. Over the next 12 years I worked a variety of roles across numerous departments including Home Lending Specialist, Analyst of Business Credit, Senior Business Banking Associate and Business Solution Lead.

I joined the Brokerage industry in 2021 working to apply my extensive knowledge of banking and finance to help my clients find the solutions that suit them, rather than what suits their bank.

Why should we choose you rather than going to a bank?
Navigating the complex landscape of which bank can support your particular needs and objectives can be a daunting task. My understanding of how banks work and which policies help or hinder your situation is the point that sets me aside from your local banker. The bank that best suits you now may not be the best bank for your future goals or your next project.

I’m the one that’s there with you the whole journey and I can talk to the banks in their language so that your position is well presented which results in the ideal solutions being available to you.

What types of loans or clients do you work with the most?
I work with clients from all walks of life with various needs. Whether you’re looking to buy your first home, invest in property or grow your business we can work together to achieve your goals.

Do you charge a fee for your services?
In almost all scenarios you are not required to pay a fee for our services. Instead, we’re paid a commission by the lender you choose through. Learn more here or get in touch if you have any questions.

Share your favorite spots to eat in Melbourne. Any top 3 attractions you recommend?
To eat, an almond croissant from Lune, a trumpet espresso from Kit Espresso and a soft shell crab wrap from Lucy Liu Kitchen and Bar. Take a walk through the city laneways; check out the latest art and cultural installations at Fed Square; take a drive out to the Yarra Valley and visit a handful of the numerous vineyards it has to offer.

What’s your favourite thing about living in Melbourne?
I moved to Melbourne in late 2018 when I worked for NAB. Having visited family in Melbourne countless times, it was a dream come true. Moving away from the warm and humid Brisbane heat I’ve learned to love the Melbourne 4-seasons-in-a-day weather.

I’ve always been big into my food and Melbourne has no shortage of cafes, restaurants, bars as well as the hidden secrets scattered around the city. The diverse culture, the people, the energy of the city.  While I’ve only lived here for 5 years now, this is home.

When you’re not working, what do you spend your time doing?
This year I’ve been focusing on learning Salsa. During the week I’m usually at a class or 2 and on the weekends I’m hitting the Latin dance party scene.
