Working in financial services since 2010, Sam spent ten years in lending risk and compliance at Commonwealth Bank and Westpac before establishing his mortgage broking business in 2021. His banking background gives him a detailed understanding of lending assessments and a strong focus on making sure clients understand their options.
Alongside everyday home loans, Sam brings specialist experience in finance for entire blocks of units, commercial property and self-managed super funds (SMSFs). He also regularly helps legal professionals and self-employed borrowers, including those with income held across companies and trusts.
Sam takes a personal, straightforward approach, tailoring his recommendations and guiding clients from their first conversation through to settlement. Flexible appointments and six-monthly rate reviews mean his support fits around clients’ lives and continues beyond the initial loan.
A longstanding Eastern Suburbs local, Sam holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance, a Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking and membership of the Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA).
