Q: Have you won any awards for your services?

A: Yes, I am really proud of winning Customer Service Manager of the Year Finalist in 2021.

Q: Do you charge a fee for your services?

A: This is a very common question that I get asked by people who haven't worked with me before. In almost all scenarios you are not required to pay a fee for our services. Instead, we’re paid a commission by the lender you choose through. Reach out and I can provide some more information about how it all works. 

Q: What types of loans or clients do you work with the most?

A: I work with a diverse range of clients, from first-time home buyers to self-employed individuals with complex business structures. I enjoy the variety and it means that I can provide holistic support should you need finance for more than one purpose.

Q: Why should someone choose you rather than going to a bank?

A: The main reason is that as a mortgage broker I am legally required to work in your best interests and explore a number of options (from different lenders) to find a solution that suits you. Banks on the other hand are businesses with shareholders, and unfortunately they answer to those shareholders and not the customers. Everything we do is about getting the right outcome for you.  

The other reasons I would say that using a broker is preferable to a bank is choice and also service. We have over 60 lenders on our panel and have access to hundreds of products for all different types of client requirements. If you’ve previously been pushed back on by the bank, we can help find a lender that will say yes.

Q: What support do you offer your clients?

A: Our team of 3 brokers and 5 support staff are experts in every aspect of the property buying and refinancing process, providing support every step of the way. From determining your borrowing capacity and finding the perfect property, to coordinating with real estate agents and navigating the post-settlement period, we make the loan process simple and easy.

But our services go far beyond that, we have our own inhouse conveyancer including assistance with insurance, and more. We also offer access to our comprehensive network of professionals such as conveyancers, financial advisers, builders, and accountants (see more here). We act as your first port of call for any financial requirement you may need support with throughout the different stages of the process.

Q: What areas do you service?

A: I am based in the Gold Coast and mainly work with clients in the following areas: Nerang, Highland Park, Carrara, Benowa, Canungra, Broadbeach & surrounding suburbs. However, if you're not a local on the Gold Coast don't let that put you off. I can also assist interstate & remote clients via video technology and have helped a number of clients who aren't local to me.

Q: What is your favourite thing about being a broker?

A: Great question! I find it really fulfilling to help individuals purchase a home and navigate them through the complex and daunting process. Buying a home can be overwhelming without proper assistance, and I strive to provide a stress-free and effortless experience for all of my clients. It's a really rewarding profession to be a part of.
