What is your experience?

I started off in accounting before heading overseas to Italy and France to play professional rugby. After returning to Australia I completed my diploma and have now worked in broking for five years.

Why did you choose to become a finance broker?

I have always loved building quality relationships, problem solving and working with numbers. Mortgage broking ticks all the boxes for me.

Why should someone come to you rather than a bank?

I take great pride in supporting clients whenever they need it. I will always be there for a chat to help them make extremely difficult and emotional decisions. I genuinely give a damn about my clients. Noone is just a number.

What is your favourite thing about being a broker?

Helping someone into their first home is an incredible feeling. There is so much misinformation out there and being able to simplify it and support them into their first home is definitely my favourite part of this job. Saving clients thousands of dollars a year is also extremely rewarding.

Do you charge a fee for your services?

If you’re going for dinner or coffee in the Northern Beaches, where are you going?

I am a local at Merivale’s “The Collaroy” - i am generally there for drinks, coffee, meals or client meetings. Conveniently it is 100m from my house.

Have you always lived in the Northern Beaches?

I grew up on the Northern Beaches in Sydney before taking a professional contract in Italy, then France. I moved back home to Collaroy in 2015 at the end of my career.

What is your favourite thing about living in the Northern Beaches?

The beach! I love the water. I am either in it or on it when I paddle (outrigging).

When you’re not working, what do you spend your time doing?

I am with my kids, friends and family or on the water paddling (outrigging).
