Q&A with Morgan;

Why did you choose to become a mortgage broker?

After working my way up the ranks at my previous employer (within banking), I found the lending role so satisfying with the ability to help my clients get into their first, fourth or even tenth property. After taking the leap into my own business and becoming a broker, it opened the door for me to help more clients achieve their goals in home ownership.

Did you always know that you wanted to be a mortgage broker?

No, after school I stumbled into the banking industry and 5 years later, landed a lending role. From that moment, I knew this was the role for me. Jumping into broking was a step that I had tossed up doing for many years and since then I haven't looked back.

Why should someone choose you rather than going to a bank?

Coming from banking, I have learnt that if you didn't fit the policy then we couldn't help you. As a broker, I have access to a panel of lenders with different policies and criterias. The products and options supplied are different for each client but the personalised service and seamless experience remains the same.

What is your favourite thing about being a broker?

Being challenged day in and day out and being able to help my client reach their property dreams. I specialise in first home buyers and the satisfaction I have when supplying an approval to a first home buyer is the best feeling.

What support do you offer your clients?

I'm available weeknights and weekends - I don’t only work 9-5 so have more availability to see/speak with my clients. I provide my clients with different options and lenders and speak with them to decide which is the best for each individual. I make the process seamless and as painless as possible.

What types of loans or clients do you work with the most? 

First Home Buyers, Construction Loans, Refinancing, Asset Finance, Car Loans, Investment Purchases and Commercial Lending.

Do you charge a fee for your services?

In almost all scenarios, you are not required to pay a fee for our services. Instead, we’re paid a commission by the lender you choose through. Learn more here or get in touch if you have any questions. Any fee for service will be disclosed prior to engaging Morgan.

I love Italian food! My favourite restaurant is Amalfi in Adelaide CBD!

Have you always lived in South Australia?

I have lived in Adelaide my whole life.

What suburb do you live in and why?

I live In Glenelg, Adelaide. I love living down by the beach and the atmosphere in the summer months! Wouldn’t live anywhere else!

When you’re not working, what do you spend your time doing?

I enjoy the gym and socialising with friends, I also enjoy travelling!
