Tell us about your journey to become a mortgage broker.
Prior to becoming a mortgage broker, I was serving in the Defence Force for 12 years. Although I have been investing in property and building my own property portfolio for the past 14 years, I have been a professional in the industry for 3 years. I chose this industry as I am able to have a direct impact on assisting customers on achieving their dreams of home ownership. I love helping customers achieve their goals.
Why should someone choose you rather than going to a bank?
As a Broker, I have access to multiple lenders to match your individual circumstances and requirements with the specific lender policy. In almost all scenarios you are not required to pay a fee for our services. Instead, we’re paid a commission by the lender you choose through. What types of loans or clients do you work with the most?
First home buyers and existing customers looking to refinance to a better product. All my clients receive a tailored support throughout the entire loan process. I can also connect you with Mortgage Protection Insurance providers.
What’s your favourite thing about living in the Barossa Valley?
My favourite thing about the Barossa Valley is the community and Wineries. For top 3, I recommend you try Barossa Chocolate Factory, Wine tasting tour and E-Bike Tour! The Chocolate factory is my go to place for coffee and afternoon tea.
When you’re not working, what do you spend your time doing?
Gardening, travelling, family outings, sport. I will most likely be in the local Nursery purchasing the next lot of plants for the house.
