Alyssa specialises in self-employed applicants, commercial and business lending, aswell as Self-Managed Super Fund loans.
Starting her career as a Bank Teller with a major bank 17 years ago, she progressed through many roles in the banking sector and moved on to Commercial banking when she discovered a passion for assisting self-employed clients. Here she specialised in business loans, Self-managed-super-fund loans, Medico Sector loans and banking, Franchise lending, Equipment Finance, SME commercial loans, and home loans for self-employed individuals.
Alyssa left the bank to pursue a career in finance broking in 2018 after realising that working for one bank greatly reduced her ability to provide varied and flexible solutions for her clients.
In 2021, Alyssa was honoured with the MPA Mortgage Brokers “Gun of the Year” Award for her exceptional work in the finance industry. The part Alyssa loves most about the loans process is connecting with her clients and contributing to the success and growth of their business and their life goals.

Do you charge a fee for your services?
In almost all scenarios you are not required to pay a fee for our services. Instead, we’re paid a commission by the lender you choose through. Learn more here or get in touch if you have any questions.
What types of loans or clients do you work with the most?
I work with a diverse range of clients, from first-time homebuyers to self-employed individuals with complex business structures.
Why should someone choose you rather than going to a bank?
The main reason is that as a mortgage broker I am legally required to work in your best interests and explore a number of options (from different lenders) to find a solution that suits you best. Banks on the other hand are businesses with shareholders, and unfortunately they answer to those shareholders and not the customers. Everything we do is about getting the right outcome for you.
The other reasons I would say that using a broker is preferable to a bank is choice and also service. We have over 60 lenders on our panel and have access to hundreds of products for all different types of client requirements. If you’ve previously been pushed back on by the bank, we can help find a lender that will say yes.

Our team of 7 brokers and 14 support staff are experts in every aspect of the property buying and refinancing process, providing support every step of the way. From determining your borrowing capacity and finding the perfect property, to coordinating with real estate agents and navigating the post-settlement period, we make the loan process simple and easy. But our services go far beyond that, including assistance with conveyancers, insurance, and more. What is your favourite thing about being a broker?
I find it fulfilling to help individuals purchase a home and navigate them through the complex and daunting process. Buying a home can be overwhelming without proper assistance, and I strive to provide a stress-free and effortless experience for all of my clients.
