Shilo started her career in retail banking over a decade ago, and ultimately became a Big 4 Branch manager who led her team to award winning success. Not content with kicking goals in just one part of finance, Shilo moved to broking where her razor-sharp intellect could provide a more specialised service to her clients. She loves working in all types of residential lending from first home buyers to seasoned investors expanding their portfolio. Her success comes from understanding that every customer interaction is novel, and requires a build from the ground up approach to maximise the best possible outcomes. Shilo is a mother of two beautiful girls, and takes setting an example of kindness and hard work really seriously. She travelled Europe and Asia extensively in her twenties, and has developed a love for fashion and art (it’s a continental thing; you really have to travel to get it, you know?). She’s also a brilliant dessert cook, so after realising your property dreams with her feel free to ask about nailing your creme brulee.

In very simple terms, Bree absolutely loves helping people achieve their home ownership goals. She has extensive experience in the construction industry, so combined with her broking acumen she is prodigiously helpful when it comes to niche construction finance lending. The heart and soul of her operation as a broker is making sure her customer journey is streamlined, stress-free and rewarding in every sense of the word! She knows everyone is different, and so takes the time to ensure every customer gets the right tailor-made finance solution. Bree is a self-professed lover of food and cooking, although she has self-confessed to loving avocado and vegemite too so maybe take her foodlover status (and any meals she prepares) with a grain of salt. She also loves snowboarding, but unlike broking isn’t very good at it!

Karen has been a trailblazer in the property finance industry since the nineties. As one of the pioneers in this field, she has guided thousands of singles, couples and families toward their dreams of home ownership and investment growth. Her true passion lies in empowering her clients to achieve what they may have thought impossible. She thrives on finding the right solutions for even more complex situations such as self-employed clients, people looking to invest in commercial properties through to clients purchasing property through their SMSF. Karen has also expanded her services into financial coaching. She is dedicated to teaching her clients how to take control of their money, reduce their stress and achieve their financial goals.

With over 8 years of experience in lending and finance management, I bring a deep understanding of home loan products and solutions across a wide range of lenders. My goal is to simplify the lending process and help clients make confident, informed decisions that move them closer to their dreams. Originally from Serbia, I moved to Australia in 2010 to build a new life. Coming from a multicultural background has given me a unique perspective and a genuine appreciation for the diverse needs of the clients. I’ve participated in events like Pako Festa, one of the biggest cultural celebrations in Geelong, where I’ve proudly represented and supported community diversity. Bec is our Client Service extraordinaire! She is the right hand woman to our brokers & our team's own personal book of knowledge. Her strong banking background and love of great customer service means she is the perfect person to answer your questions and make sure your home loan application runs smoothly. Bec has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to owner occupier and investment loans, but her bread and butter is helping first home buyers undertake one of the most exciting decisions in their lives. She will break down the bank jargon and keep you well-informed all the way to home loan approval.

Eliza is our settlement manager, with her experience and knowledge, she guides her team to provide the best service possible. She supports you throughout your settlement process and beyond. She organises your loan documents and takes care of all the correspondence with solicitors and lenders so your settlement is successful, and on-time. With this wealth of knowledge and experience Eliza is an expert in construction loans. Building can be a stressful few months, but Eliza will look after all progress payments from start to finish of construction to ensure your build is as smooth & stress-free as possible. Eliza enjoys spending her freetime dining out with her girlfriends. She aspires to be a snack connoisseur. You can refer to her as "Snack Queen".

Shanai is currently on maternity leave with her gorgeous baby girl. With over five years of experience as both a Client Service Manager and accredited Broker, Shanai will ensure your deal is submitted to the lender seamlessly and in the best possible light. With a background in real estate, she understands both sides of a property transaction, and what information and communication you need throughout the loan application process. Originally from Melbourne, Shanai is about to make the move ‘down the coast’ to join the rest of the team. She enjoys being outdoors, at the beach, hiking and going on adventures with her partner and dogs Finn and Fern.

Dayna provides support to our brokers across a wide range of activities. She is responsible for assisting our brokers with all aspects of lending, credit analysis, policies and servicing. In addition to her lending support, Dayna is also responsible for managing our print and digital media as well as our social media presence. Originally from Bendigo, Dayna has made her home on the beautiful coast of Geelong with her partner and beloved wrinkly boxer. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors, hitting the beach, and sharing good food and wine with friends.

Camille is an integral part of our settlements team, known for her efficiency, reliability, and attention to detail. If you’ve got a loan ready to go, Camille will have it settled in no time! She expertly liaises with banks, conveyancers, and clients to ensure every settlement runs smoothly and on schedule. Her clear communication and calm approach make her a trusted point of contact throughout the final stages of the loan process. Outside of work, Camille enjoys spending quality time with her family and caring for her three beloved fur dogs. These personal passions help her stay grounded and bring a sense of balance to her fast-paced professional life.

When you walk into our office, one of the first smiling faces you’ll see is Ash. She brings a bubbly, vibrant energy to the team and is always up for a friendly chat — especially if it involves swapping recommendations for the best coffee spots in town. If we had an in-house chef, it would definitely be Ash. She's constantly whipping up delicious dishes and is a true foodie at heart. To balance her love of cooking, Ash keeps active as a regular at reformer Pilates, proving she’s got the recipe for both fun and focus.

Lee brings energy, efficiency, and a great sense of humour to the team. With six years’ experience in retail banking and lending, he has excellent insight into the loan lodgement process and a deep understanding of what’s needed to get a loan across the line. His background makes him a valuable support for both our team and clients. Whether he’s coordinating tasks or assisting with loan submissions, Lee is always ready to jump in and get things done — preferably after his morning coffee (and maybe an afternoon top-up too). Outside of work, Lee is jumping between Melbourne and Geelong catching up with friends and trying the newest restaurants, as well as counting down the days until he sees Lady Gaga live — an event he's very excited about.

Meet our bubbly receptionist, Ebony! Whether you're calling us or dropping by the office, Ebony is the friendly face (and voice) that will greet you first. With a natural knack for organisation and people, she knows exactly where to direct you within our busy team — and she’ll likely do it with a smile. Beyond the front desk, Ebony has a passion for beauty and specializes in eyelash treatments. Her creative flair and attention to detail shine both in the office and in her beauty work. When she’s not helping clients or perfecting lashes, Ebony is working toward her degree in Nursing, spending time with her new baby nephew, or indulging in her favourite pastime: brunch (at any time of day). And if you ask, she’s always happy to show off photos of the love of her life — her stunning British Shorthair cat, Sebastian.

She may be behind the scenes, but Bella plays a big role in helping the business stay organised and ensuring our processes run smoothly for clients. Being the daughter of Sarah Thomson, Bella has been around finance her whole life and is passionate about financial literacy. When she isn’t in the office helping the team deliver exceptional customer service, she’ll likely be on the beach with her pooch - even on freezing days. Her superpower? Name any dog breed and she will tell you its origin.

Vanie is the quiet powerhouse behind the scenes, keeping everything organised and running smoothly. He thrives on the nitty-gritty tasks that keep the office ticking—whether it's saving and managing documents, meticulous data entry, or lending a hand to our lodgements team. With a sharp eye for detail and a methodical approach, Vanie ensures no task is too small and nothing slips through the cracks. When he's not at his desk, you'll likely find Vanie clocking up the kilometres training for his next Triathlon or spending quality time with his three daughters, who keep him just as busy and just as inspired.

Cameron has been in finance for going on two decades. He worked in a bank helping customers as a teller and as a Senior Lending Specialist, so he has seen it all. It is important to him to make sure all our customers are fully informed at every step of their finance journey. When it comes to your loan application - Cameron is your man. When he isn’t wearing his problem solver or educator hat at Loan Market, you can find him fishing or out in his caravan with his beautiful family.
